Coach Trista Koch

While employed in healthcare as a Respiratory Therapist, I continued working on my Masters in Business Administration for Executive Coaching. Working closely with our CEO and other department directors, I was able to serve on and lend value to several committees both within the organization as well as the community. I also had the opportunity to work with amazing doctors in several satellite clinics including cardiac and pulmonary clinics.

Though I was meeting great people and impacting my place of work where I could, my family was growing. I found that my priorities were shifting away from the demands of being an on call healthcare provider and towards being able to provide for my family while still being able to spend time with them. I entrusted God to guide my way and took a job as an office manager in a chiropractic clinic. Many changes were immediately implemented by means of systems and organization that allowed everyone in the office to work more effectively and efficiently, while giving the patients a higher standard of care. In the process, the office experienced sustained growth in all practice avenues. My time there made me realize how I had allowed my work to negatively impact my attitude, my beliefs of the world and my friends and family. It also allowed me to examine how I would continue to let work impact the things and people I truly value in life.

Again I asked God to lead the way and he did. He introduced me to a great team of people who encouraged me to create Empowered Practice. I now empower individuals, small business owners and medical professionals with the knowledge and support they need to live lives full of purpose and passion.
